Kelly Dabel, RDN
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with 15 years of experience, both inpatient Clinical and outpatient.
I'm amazed by the Lord's bountiful blessings in my life; my amazing husband, who is also my best friend, and the gift of being a Mommy to four amazing kids.
I'm a night owl who loves crafting, sewing, decorating, photography and soaking up the joy in watching our children enjoy life. As a family we strive to eat well and teach our kids about good food and being active.
I find joy in creating delicious and healthy meals for our family. I look for inspiration everywhere and have fun modifying recipes, making them work for us and with what we have in the fridge. My hubby started eating gluten-free and dairy-free in 2011, and as we value eating together as a family, our dinners are gluten-free and dairy-free now as well.
We started Wholesome Dinner Tonight in 2010 as a journal of our family meals, a digital recipe box of sorts, including recipes dreamed up by my fearlessly creative hubby. Hoping this helps inspire on those "I don't know what to fix for dinner tonight" nights. Pull up a chair at our family table, stay awhile, and see what we fix up next.
